NASA Reveals First-Ever Look at Mars' Interior

In a historic first, NASA scientists are sharing images of what the core of the red planet is like. The information was gleaned from the space agency's InSight lander which has been tracking a series of marsquakes since 2019. It's believed to be a breakthrough in planetary geoscience, answering a question scientists have wondered about for years. The revelation came on the same day as the Perseverance rover was to begin collecting samples from Mars to send back to Earth.
