Bridge and the Tower

Bridge and the Tower
Daiba area of Tokyo had no shopping building when I was young. Still a lot of young couples visited there by their cars. The view of the central part of Tokyo from there was outstanding. So I was so unhappy when the Rainbow Bridge was completed. I thought it ruined the nighttime view of Tokyo (Of course there was no lights on the bridge at the time). So when I visited Daiba a couple of weeks ago, I captured this image to share the feeling I had when I was young with you. But …

Sorry about the late update. I’m not in Bondi – you’d probably gathered that. We’ve just circumnavigated the state of Victoria stalking waves. You gotta be tough to surf down here in Vicco. They’ve got great waves but it’s cold, windy, wet and fickle. When it’s on, it’s on – world class. But when the artic winds blow (and its small) you’ll need to spend some time in the car, which ain’t a bad thing…seeing The Great Ocean Road is probably one of the most famous stretches of road in Australia. It was built between 1919 and 1932. It’s the world’s largest war memorial, dedicated to the casualties of World War I…a fine tribute hugging some of the most picturesque coastline I’ve seen. The pyramids of Egypt at sunset

I wish every morning kicked off like this. I just rolled into Lorne, Victoria last night and was greeted with this spray of colour over the pier. The sunrise is 7:30am down here – that’s a holiday for me, sleep in until 6:30am. Surf is small, heading down the coast chasing waves. Stay tuned to www.aquabumps.com and I will post my full set of shots.

Finally...we found some waves in Victoria...more to come. Uge

European Diary 2013 (日本語版は英語版に続きます⬇) ヨーロッパ日記 2013
Day 2 Accident part 1 2日目 アクシデント パート1
On Day 2, I woke up at 4.30 am to go to the chateau for sunrise photo. It was so beautiful there in early morning with mist over water, a big white swam was swimming around with rays of lights shinning over its feathers. I almost felt as if I were being transported to another world, a world of fairies and unicorns..Chantilly is perhaps not of this world...it is a place where the little girl within me long for, …

Google+ 2nd Anniversary Photo Walk in Tokyo is almost here!

Google+ 2nd Anniversary Photo Walk in Tokyo is almost here!
The last place we visited on the Google+ First Anniversary Photo Walk Tokyo that we had in June, 2012 was Daiba, Minato-ku. To get there, we took the Yurikamome Line and went across the Rainbow Bridge. Before reaching the main part of the bridge, the train passed the loop part which, some of you may know, I love so much. We were lucky enough to take the front seat (the Yurikamome Line is computerized and the front seats are for …

European Diary 2013 (日本語版は英語版に続きます⬇) ヨーロッパ日記 2013
Day 2 Accident part 2 2日目 アクシデント パート2
After the car dropped into the rapeseed blossoms field, I realised that there's no way I could get it out myself, time to call for help. I took out the rental car papers to look for emergency road service number, but where am I? How do I tell them where to go!? Somehow I don't have faith in navichan's ability to tell the exact GPS location..I saw a car coming from afar, I rushed out from my car and stopped the …
