Football turf

Synthetic turf is comprised of several layers. On the bottom is a natural subgrade followed by a layer of geotextile, above which is a layer of drainage stone that houses an irrigation pipe that permits fluid to drain out of the turf. The top layer then covered with a levelling layer as well as an energy pad. The back layer has weepholes that allow water to pass through.
