Northeast Philadelphia’s George Washington High School has partnered with Philadelphia Academies Inc. and Aramark in rolling out a new school model aimed at better preparing students for careers and strengthening the city’s hospitality industry.
A planning team replicated the school model created by Philadelphia Academies, Inc., a nonprofit youth development organization recognized nationally for its career academy model, which incorporates industry-driven instruction and customized learning for individual students.
