His business ventures also took him to Chile, where he oversaw operations and provided financial management at a gold and copper processing facility in Copiapo. Here, he innovated a proprietary process for removing and neutralizing harmful substances from liquids, revolutionizing safety measures in mining operations. Residing in Plano, Texas, Cagle continues to provide consultancy services to various oil and energy companies, focusing on midsize independents. He also extends his consultancy to sectors beyond oil and gas, including a significant landscaping company across East and Central Texas. Reed's interests include a strong connection to the outdoors. He is an enthusiastic hunter and fly fisherman and maintains a healthy lifestyle through regular cycling.
