Ford currently focuses on sustainable landscape design, which she pursued after leaving the fashion world. She has lived abroad in England, Holland, and Belgium while raising her family and focusing on her husband's career. She is nearing her 20th wedding anniversary in 2023 and enjoys skiing, horses, and kite surfing.
