Chevrolet Recalls Even More Bolt EVs, EUVs
The automaker announced Friday that it will be recalling an additional 72,000 cars, including more 2019 Bolt EVs and 2020-2022 Bolt EVs and EUVs. The expanded battery fire recall will cost $1 billion. The EUVs are Chevy's brand new SUV-sized Bolts, a car with a hands-free driving feature that GM had high hopes for as it expanded its Bolt line. Chevy will replace battery modules in affected cars, but behind the scenes, it's been offering to buy back some customers' cars. This story is developing.
