When Intel announced its newest silicon for laptops, the 11th Generation ‘Tiger Lake’ chips, its claim wasn’t just that the CPUs would be faster than the 10th Generation 'Ice Lake' family (though they are), but that they would bring the hurt to the latest Ryzen laptop processors from AMD. The chip giant also promised integrated graphics (dubbed "Iris Xe") that would leapfrog earlier versions in performance. Did Intel succeed? We tested the very first ‘Tiger Lake’ laptops to find out.
