Hairy Bikers meet the 4709 project. The construction of 4709 is one of the landmark projects to be featured in a new BBC TV series in which The Hairy Bikers visit the people restoring our industrial heritage. You can see Si and Dave getting their hands dirty on 4709 in the final episode of Restoration Road Trip to be broadcast on BBC2 on Sunday 25 August at 9pm. This photograph was taken during filming at Llangollen on 14 May, and is copyright David Wilcock. It shows 2-8-0 No 2861 being dismantled to retrieve parts for the 4709 project.
