We have to credit Ignacio “Nacho” Amaya for this delicious community treat present at every gathering. Nacho Amaya created this dish in 1940 in Mexico when an American customer asked him to serve something different. In a moment of inspiration, Amaya took pieces of corn tortillas, added melted cheese and topped them with a slice of jalapeño. Voila! History was made. In this Storyboard, I am sharing a roundup of nacho recipes, just in time for the debates and the sports season.
