When does science cross an ethical line?

Scientists have created human-monkey chimera embryos, restored brain function in pigs hours after death, and used electrical pulses to prevent violent behavior in criminals. Sometimes crossing an ethical line in research is accidental, other times scientists can see the problem looming and ask questions early. Would you eat dog meat if it was grown from cells in a lab?
