Compact Campers: Good things come in small packages

Anyone can build a motorhome into a full-length bus, but it takes someone special to fit a livable home inside the market's smallest vans. Each of these camper vans measures less than 5 meters (16.4 ft) long but has everything you need for a comfortable night of sleep on the road or in the wild. They maneuver easily around narrow city streets, park in small spaces, and save money at the gas pump (or power plug). And the smallest of the bunch are shorter than a Mini Cooper.
