The trials human beings face in this life are not beyond their ability to handle. In fact, believing that our trails are too much to handle is similar to believing that Allah has not spoken the truth when he said, "Allah does not charge a soul except with that within its capacity. In order to reassure humankind of this, Allaah states this fact repeatedly in the Qur'aan. An example of His reassurance may be found in Al Baqarah (2):286 which says, "Allah does not charge a soul except with that within its capacity." Dr. Bilal Philips

On the authority of Abdullah ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them both), he relates that the Prophet (pbuh) once held my shoulders and said: “Live in this world as (if you are) a wayfarer or a stranger.” And Abdullah ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them both) used to say: “If you live till night, then do not wait for the next day (i.e. do not have hopes that you will live to the next day), and if you wake up in the morning do not have hope that you will live till the night. And take (advantage) from your health before your sickness and take advantage of your life before your death (i.e. do every possible obedience in your life before death comes to you for then no deeds can be performed.)” [Bukhari and Tirmidhi] #Islam #Stranger

Be with someone who reminds you of Allah. The Prophet said, “A person is likely to follow the faith of his friend, so be careful whom you befriend." [Abu Dawud] #Friends via Islamic Online University

Since there is only One God, and humankind are one species, the religion which God has ordained for human beings is one. He did not prescribe one religion for the Jews, another for Indians, yet another for Europeans, etc. Human spiritual and social needs are uniform and human nature has not changed since the first man and woman were created. Consequently, no other religion is acceptable to God besides Islaam, as He clearly states in chapter Aal 'Imraan of the final revelation: "Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.." (Soorah Aal 'Imraan, 3:19) Dr Bilal #Islam

Belief in Allaah means accepting that nothing takes place in the universe without His permission, and that only Allaah deserves humankind's complete trust. No one can stop the decree of Allah if a thing is meant to be, and no one can force a thing to happen if it is not. Dr Bilal #TrustAllah

The first thing we say upon awaking is "Al hamdu lillaah (Thanks to Allah) who brought me back to life after causing me to die, and to Him we will all be gathered." (Bukhari & Muslim) And before going to sleep, "Bismi kallaahumma (In your name O Allah) I die and come back to life." (Abu Dawood & Tirmithi)
