Mike Crabtree Saskatchewan

Mike Crabtree Saskatchewan currently leads as the President and CEO of the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC), having previously served as the Vice-President of its Energy Division. In his current role, he strategically guides the council's initiatives, focusing on critical sectors like mining, energy, and oil and gas, which are foundational to Saskatchewan's economic vitality. His leadership journey includes chairing Quickthree Solutions, and presently, he is the chairman of WFI Inc., an oilfield service company based in Texas. His governance and strategic insights also extended to his Canadian Heavy Oil Association board member role. Additionally, he founded and led Oilflow Solutions Inc. as CEO and held various senior executive and R&D roles at Schlumberger Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in the oil, gas, and clean energy industries, specializing in field operations, management, and R&D. He holds a Master's in petroleum engineering and a bachelor's in chemistry.
