I don’t love the definitive nature of the title, but the body of the article is more tempered and states, “Therefore, I would suggest that instead of removing all decorations, teachers should consider whether some of their visual displays may be distracting to young children.” I have always found some classrooms to be too busy for my taste, so I find the study interesting.
