Barossa police are on the hunt for a 2m-long triceratops. The herbivore species might have gone extinct many millions of years ago, but the one being sought by authorities is a fibreglass version stolen from the minigolf area at the Barossa Bowland in Tanunda. The thieves took the very distinctive brown, bronze and green dinosaur from the premises in Menge Rd sometime between Sunday and Tuesday. They also broke into a shed at the business and stole other equipment. Anyone with information about the theft, or with information about the location of the 1m-high dinosaur, should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at ww.sa.crimestoppers.com.au (PLEASE NOTE: We have been informed that the stolen dinosaur isn’t a triceratops - however there appears to be some debate about its actual species!)
