Photo @coryrichards In an effort to ease the fallout of the tragic events on Everest and the death of 16 of our Sherpa friends @argonautphoto and @graysonwyatt along with curators from @natgeo and Outside started the Sherpa Photo Fund, a flash print sale of iconic images made by a collection of photographers who have spent considerable time working in the Sherpa community and greater himalaya. Prints are only $100 and 100% of proceeds will be donated to various relief organizations thru the Alex Lowe Charitable Foundation. Images by @jimmy_chin @andy_bardon @maxwellsilver @gordonwiltsie @pedromcbride @renan_ozturk and more will be for sale through midnight Wednesday. It stopped in 1998 due to over allocation and climate change. Thanks to the hard work of many, a new treaty with #Mexico and the US might help this 1450-mile long river kiss the sea again. A small water release for the delta is potentially planned to happen next spring. #riverrundry @thephotosociety
