It helps all levels of practitioners from simple to advanced. It aids in seated, standing, twisted, inverted and balance work. You can be as creative or basic as you like but know the props are there to make your practice stronger! Some people find them unnecessary or a sign of weakness to which I laugh. I will use props for the rest of my life, especially if it will help my alignment and make the pose accessible.
