On Election Day, Americans voted to legalize cannabis for recreational use in four additional states: Arizona, Montana, New Jersey, and South Dakota. Voters decriminalized psychedelics in Washington, D.C., and they went a step further in Oregon, decriminalizing drugs like heroin and cocaine in small amounts, legalizing psychedelics and redirecting funds toward addiction treatment efforts.
