I believe that many of our greatest pains, struggles and miseries in life stem from us being too "I" centered. Self occupation is the reason for many of our failures and defeats. When people become overly occupied with self, they become excessively introspective about their performance, inner motivations and how other people view them. This inevitably leads to them being obsessed, oppressed and depressed. My friend, stop looking at yourself today! Stop dwelling on negative thoughts about yourself and feeling lousy. Turn your eyes away from you, and look at Jesus. Be utterly absorbed and engrossed in all the beauties of the One who loved you and gave His life for you! As you do that, you will find peace, freedom and rest for your weary soul. The 5th key in The Power Of Right Believing is to be free from self-occupation! #believing4

It all boils down to the one thing: it is all about Jesus, His amazing grace and love for you and me. #believing4 #nccsg #josephprince

Jesus did not come just to talk, to persuade us to be good and decent. He never screamed condemnation on the wicked. He preached like nobody else ever did. His words are power words. Listen to them, receive them, and you go away with far more than good intentions. Jesus didn't preach to tell you to turn over a new leaf, but to turn you to a new life. In those days they talked about a potter working on clay and when it went wrong he started all over again. In the Bible God spoke about people in His hands like a potter, re-shaping their lives. Nowadays we can work on more than clay. We re-cycle glass, metal, paper, oil. However WE CANNOT RE-CYCLE HUMAN NATURE. With all our laws and police and armies, and psychologists and educationalists we can't transform a murderer or habitual criminal, a drug abuser, a child molester, and turn him into a real gentleman, or saint. But Christ does. You can't unscramble eggs. No - but God can put people back together again, and does every day. Christ's preaching was proclamation. It set things happening and they go on happening. We read that at creation God said "Let there be Light" and there was Light. God bless you. REINHARD BONNKE

“See, I am with you always, even to the end of the world”. (Mat 28:20) What a promise! The Christian’s certainty! Ahead of us are 365 days of life’s journey through virgin territory. It might be tangled forests or sun-drenched fields, but we are equipped by this knowledge, that the Lord will travel with us. God said He walked with Israel in the wilderness ‘in a tent and in a tabernacle’ (2 Sam. 7:6). Similarly Mark 16:20 describes the first disciples of Jesus “They went forth ... everywhere ...the Lord working with them.” God’s presence is unconditional. Whatever distracts us, we have His undivided attention. This great truth is not put together from isolated texts, but is woven into the texture of the whole revelation of God. Be blessed by Him.
