Fun reading continues with Davey & Derek Newest Case!
In her newest installment in the fabulous Middle-Grade/Preteen award-winning series, "The Case of the Mystery of the Bells: Davey & Derek Junior Detectives, Book 6", Mrs. Janice Spina continues to entertain her sure to be growing audience of young readers. In this volume, the author introduces new characters to the ever-expanding cast and sets Derek & Davey, the twelve-year-old twin detectives, on a journey to solve the mystery of ringing bells. The writing is lovely and engaging and keeps one turning the pages in delightful anticipation.
The relationship between the two brothers and the twosome's respectful interaction with their mom Laura and aunt Gigi add much value to these books, as the boys' comportment makes them excellent role-models to their growing fan base of middle-class readers.
Excellent art enhances the reading experience. Kudos to illustrator Mr. Jonn Spina!
Highly recommended.
