Living for 11,000 years

How do you like that? A sponge that lived longer than any being on this planet. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration this sponge is the size of a minivan, the largest on record, measuring 12 feet long and seven feet wide. It’s also presumed to be the oldest living creature on earth. I was so intrigued by this creature that I dedicated a whole storyboard to sponges.
