Afternoon Tea

I grew up with afternoon tea. As a child we would go to my grandma’s, she would serve all kinds of goodies and treats. Introduced in 1840 by the Duchess of Bedford to bridge the long gap between lunch and dinner afternoon tea is an art form. A traditional English tea is served with Ceylon black tea, scones, sandwiches and a Victoria’s Sandwich cake.
