-- "Introducing the Miracle" by Paul Klee, 1916. -- Photo : @centrepompidou @themuseumofmodernart Lire notre article : > http://bit.ly/1SaXRJi < -- #France #Paris #Klee #CentrePompidou #Culture #Art #Exhibition #Exposition

Rome

Project info<p>This must be considered my main current project. It is an edit of photos I have taken in Rome, the city in live in more or less happily, over the last year and a half. And since I live in this city, this is my everyday normalcy. I feel it is more honest, raw and maybe "problematic" than …

Photography

Photo by Diana Zeyneb Alhindawi @dianazeynebalhindawi: Lama Phakchok Rimpoche and his uncle, Lama Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, attend to a brief business matter during a luncheon with students at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery, whose structure is still visibly under reconstruction after suffering considerable damage during the catastrophic earthquake of April 2015. Managing the monastery, with nearly 300 monks in residence, as well several other monasteries and nunneries under their leadership, is no small administrative feat for the lamas. Moreover, they also lead several education, health and earthquake relief and reconstruction projects throughout Nepal. In the aftermath of the earthquake, which left nearly 9,000 people dead, over 20,000 injured, and many parts of Nepal in rubble, the Nepali government has been slow to implement funds for reconstruction, and most international organizations who responded immediately after the earthquake have ceased or significantly slowed down their operations. Many Nepalis continue to live in makeshift structures to this day, and much of Nepal's infrastructure and roads remain in ruin. Today, the country is largely being rebuilt by local Nepali organizations like Phakchok's foundation. Follow me this week as I post photos from my recent trip to Kathmandu and nearby areas, where I photographed the Tibetan Buddhist lama, Guru Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche, and his followers, focusing on their daily life as well as the development projects they undertake through their foundation, the Chokgyur Lingpa Foundation. #tibetanbuddhism #buddhism #nepalearthquake #nepal #kathmandu #boudha

when I was younger and planning out my life, kids were not a part of 'my plan'. being the youngest in my family by a substantial age difference, I was constantly babysitting my nieces and nephews. I loved them but didn't think having kids was for me. then at the age of 19, I found myself pregnant. I was scared and unsure of how I'd ever be a good mom. I moved in with my mom (which wasn't easy because we weren't close) and with her help, I was able to get the confidence I needed to raise this baby. 18 years later, I can honestly say that was the best thing to happen to me! I love being a mom and am so proud of each of my babes...but today...it's all about Taylor! this girl is my most proud accomplishment. she just keeps getting cooler and I'm beyond lucky she picked me way back when! happy 18th birthday taylor 💗 you are the best. I hope you have a great day, birthday dinner and have fun tonight at potowatomi. you deserve everything!!! 🎉💥🎈
