Taylor Vs. Scooter Timeline
In 2019, Taylor announced her plan to re-record her first six albums as a way to regain control of her music.
Celebrity manager Scooter Braun acquired ownership of Taylor's catalog in a reported $300 million sale.
The statement also says that Big Machine Records "owes Taylor $7.9 million dollars of unpaid royalties over several years."
Fans analyzed each detail in the photo — including the 22 spaces in the window, which could serve as a reference to the song "22" or the "Red" release date on October 22, 2012.
Swift said Braun wouldn't let her bid on her music until she signed "an ironclad NDA" that would bar her from saying a negative word about him ever again.
Sources claim that an investment fund purchased the rights to Swift's masters for over $300 million in the last two weeks.
Taylor previously said "Love Story" has been the most fun song to rerecord so far.
