Today's takeover is by photographer Eric Mencher (@emencher), who made this image in the streets of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. "Street photography has been a part of my photographic soul since I first picked up a Kodak Instamatic camera in the early 1970's," Mencher writes, "Although now my camera (an iPhone) is a bit different, I'm still attracted to the same subject matter. I love witnessing (and attempting to photograph) the craziness, the beauty, the weirdness of the theater of the street." The secret to capturing and freezing its elusive magic, he suggests, is the understanding that "what we choose to leave out of the frame can be every bit as important as what we include." // #street #streetphotography #Mexico #MigueldeAllende
