Now that COVID-19's Delta variant is dominant in the U.S. the debate over vaccination mandates has resumed. Over 158 million Americans are now immunized against the virus that has killed roughly 606,000 in the country. A Houston hospital system brought the issue to the forefront when more than 150 workers were fired or resigned over the company's vaccine requirement. After the U.S. fell short of Biden’s July 4 vaccine goal, will more businesses and institutions introduce mandates in the future?
