35 Million Americans With COVID-19

The number of people in the U.S. who tested positive for the coronavirus reached a milestone on Monday with more than 35 million confirmed cases. More than 616,000 people have died from the virus since the pandemic's start. Many new cases are the result of the fast-spreading delta variant and the sluggish vaccination rate across many states. California became the first to report more than 4 million COVID-19 cases. Florida, Louisiana and Texas are also seeing spikes.
