One of the most AMAZING sights I have ever witnessed as a lioness protectively leads six little cubs across the Sand River. Captured on safari at Singita. #Canon 5Dmk3 Canon 400 2.8 IS L 1/3200, f4.0, ISO200 #singita #safari #marlondutoit

RHINO FRIDAY - Chad Cocking We aim to share "natural" images on AFRICANature and normally stay away from photos that are digital composites. We did however feel that Chad's composite photo here can be used to spread the message of the sun setting on the rhinos of Africa. Something needs to be done!! Fridays will be dedicated to showing photos of Africa's rhinos. The rhino poaching pandemic is escalating by the day and no clear-cut solution or winning strategy is in sight yet. NO LOCATIONS WILL BE GIVEN OF ANY RHINOS POSTED ON THIS PAGE. WEBSITE: FACEBOOK PAGE: Chad Cocking Wildlife Photography

It is our intention for L’Équipe des Éléphants to be operational for at least a year, but we cannot do it without your help. To donate and contribute to the running of this anti-poaching unit, visit
