Rich Homie Quan's cause of death has been confirmed as an accidental overdose. The 34-year-old rapper, whose real name was Dequantes Lamar, passed away on September 5, 2024, at his home in Atlanta. The Fulton County Medical Examiner revealed multiple drugs were found in Quan’s system, including fentanyl, Xanax, codeine, promethazine, and THC. No signs of trauma were present, and his death was ruled an accident. His brother discovered him unresponsive on the kitchen floor and placed him on the couch, but hours later, Quan was found cold and unresponsive by his girlfriend, who called 911.
