First 'Super Mario Bros.' Trailer Drops, But Not Everyone's Happy

Nintendo and Illumination studios released the first footage for the animated film about the world's most famous plumbers. Made up of an all-star cast including Chris Pratt, Jack Black, Anya Taylor-Joy and Keegan-Michael Key, "Super Mario Bros." is set to premiere in 2023. The trailer was the first time fans heard Pratt's version of Mario and the internet didn't seem too pleased with it. Watch the clip below and make your own determination.

The film will be co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and released worldwide by Universal Pictures.
