The much-loved soap star and stage veteran June Brown passed away Sunday at the age of 95. She was best known for her role in "Eastenders" as the chain-smoking launderette manager Dot Cotton who was always armed with a sharp quip. For 35 years she played one of the show's most memorable matriarchs that saw her character endure a battle with cancer, assist a friend in their last moments and watch her son die in her arms.
