Sophie Gamand, a Voice for Misunderstood Dogs Across the World

For years, Sophie Gamand has been helping dogs find homes. In South Korea, she Gamand remembers visiting a dog meat farm--and watching the dogs get rescued by Humane Society International. Along with The Sato Project, she shares the story of some of Puerto Rico's estimated 250,000 stray dogs. And all across the United States, where a pit bull is euthanized every thirty seconds, she captures the gentleness and vulnerability of dogs who have been misunderstood for far too long.
