As many of you have guessed, the mobile that floats above "Diana" in the Great Stair Hall is Alexander Calder’s “Ghost.” Calder produced his first moving sculptures, dubbed “mobiles” by Marcel Duchamp, in the early 1930s. Calder was third in a line of distinguished sculptors from Philadelphia.
