Glass skywalk in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in the Tianmen Mountain, China

In Yellow Dragon Cave in Zhangjiajie, there are not only amazing rock structures (including stalactites, stalagmites, and the "Sea-Calming Needle," which is insured for $15 million!), but also colorful lighting and an underground river on which visitors can take a boat ride. Cool, isn't it?

We know some of you will be traveling this holiday season to visit loved ones... imagine if your trip included the Heaven-linking Avenue of the Tianmen Mountain. The 99 turns paints the image of a white dragon lying on the mountains. One of the most amazing mountain roads in the world indeed!

The Ten-mile Gallery in Zhangjiajie is an "outdoor sculpture showroom" located at the foot of Tianzi Mountain. Visitors can walk along the river or ride on the electric train to enjoy hundreds of peaks like “Old Man Collecting Medicine” and "Three Sisters." Wouldn't this be a lovely natural tour?

Zhangjiajie is featured in this month's issue of JAX FAX Travel Marketing Magazine. In the story, titled "China - Mountain High," Zhangjiajie is described as a destination with "beauty and adrenaline pumping, peak experiences." Read more of what they had to say about China's National Park here:

2013 marks the 20th anniversary of Zhangjiajie's Wulingyuan Scenic Area being added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the past 20 years, Zhangjiajie, China’s National Park, has grown hugely while still remaining true to its natural and cultural heritage. Daredevil stunt park or world tourism attraction? Tianmen Mountain near Zhangjiajie, China's National Park, is worth the bus ride up the 99 hairpin turns or the almost 25,000 foot cable car ride. The views at the top are stunning (and the ride there is pretty memorable too!). Has anyone visited Tianmen Mountain in China (or would you like to)? Photo by Feng Wei Photography

We're ready for spring to be here...especially if it looks like this scene from Golden Whip Stream in Zhangjiajie, China's National Park! Gorgeous, no?

TGIF! For visitors to Zhangjiajie, there are many exciting things to see and do at Xibu Streets, especially at night, when the buildings are lit up and the center features a jovial bonfire amidst the shops, restaurants and bars there. Would you like to take a stroll down Xibu's Streets and along its canal?

TravelAge West Magazine is featuring Zhangjiajie in this month's issue & online!
