Pola de Lena, Spain - April 15, 2025 The body of a 28-year-old hiker from Alicante has been found near the Meicín refuge. The young man had gone missing during a hiking route between Lindes and Tuiza. His body was discovered this morning, approximately 200 meters from the mountain shelter. Emergency services, including personnel from 112 and the mountain rescue and air units of the Guardia Civil, took part in the search. Authorities expressed their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
