Thin Client has come a long way from Citrix back in the 80s. And from the mainstream Wyse (now Dell), IGELs and HPs. Literally 100s of thousands of Chrome Books, at a single time, going out. Lately we've seen uptick in RaspberryPI which is probably the lowest cost computer available these days. And lets not forget the new serverless tech and "edge computing" from Cloudflare, AWS, Rackspace and Azure. Power over ethernet still has a ways to go.
