Extinction Rebellion has been exploring a potential shift away from their disruptive tactics, but how long will it last? Starting on Friday, instead of blocking roads, throwing paint and smashing windows, about 30,000 people have signed up for four days of family-friendly rallies and marches at “The Big One” Earth Day protests in London.  But if the government fails to meet its demands, the group said they would "step up" civil disobedience in "new and inventive ways".
