Year of the Snake (Size: 44 x 32 x 96') Acrylic on walls, digitally printed vinyl on floor, string lights, paper lanterns, silk screened wallpaper, MDF and glass bar, barstools, Jack Daniels bottles, bespoke cushions, audio soundtrack (2013) Installation that examines the identity and evolution of the old Public Museum of Grand Rapids by transforming the entire Grand Hall into an interactive social environment. The snake is a symbol of change. This museum was evolving out of its original function as a Natural History museum.
