“The Tunnel” submitted by @henning_haupt . . “The Tunnel” is entrance to the Florida Atlantic University in Fort Lauderdale, a pedestrian passageway connecting the campus to the city’s parking garage. The composition was executed on walls and ceilings under the existing ramps by adding transparent layers of red, yellow and blue varnish. Layer-by-layer an inseparable architectural color-space construction was orchestrated on site in a painterly process merging our physical space with the color-space.

“Flood of '65” submitted by @mindybray . . “Flood of ‘65” is a site-specific painting for the new offices of Husch Blackwell. The painting was commissioned through @ninedotarts, who facilitated a dialog with the art committee from Husch Blackwell to arrive at an image and concept that conveyed a narrative about their new location in Union Station, a vibrant area of redevelopment in downtown Denver. The piece is 6.5 ft. x 12 ft., executed in latex paint directly on the wall.
