BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUAT FORM FAIL AND FIX from MH fitness director BJ Gaddour (@bjgaddour)! The #BulgarianSplitSquat is arguably the most accessible and effective lower body exercise out there. But I see a lot of people do it wrong as shown in the top photo (maybe because it makes for a better butt selfie, ha). The legs are too far apart and as a result the lower back is hyperextended and range of motion is minimal. Tighten up your stance and get more out of the move the way I show it in the bottom photo. In fact, I recommend starting from the bottom to lock-in your positioning and alignment before starting your set. It will make a #huge difference.
