New learning and engagement - A new topic I have learned was macromolecules and proteins. Even though this was a topic covered at my old school , it was briskly covered and then dropped almost immediately. I now can understand the roles and functions of a macromolecule and protein.

New learning & improvement - Another subject I have improved on is rising test scores. This goes hand in hand with study skills and ultimately helped by raising my test scores as an end result.

New learning & improvement - A new skill I have acquired over this semester is study skills. Before this year I had not studied very much, now I know how, when ,and what to study .

I also consider the book , Charles and Emma for me was a topic of improvement as of learning and comprehending the Darwin theory and his thought process behind it.

An improvement I have done within laboratory skills, have definitely been the usage of a microscope. Before this year I had, had access to a microscope only a few times & now I feel almost completely comfortable using them.

I feel as though my scientific communication skills have improved drastically. This consists of learning how to change the language of the every day lingo into scientific terms.

Somethings that I have taken and interest in , in this semesters biology class has been enzymes, photosynthesis, and respiration.

I feel accomplished in the sense that I have improved on scientific communication as well as science and laboratory skills. Also, the knowledge acquired from the summer reading.

During respiration, my brain became engaged in how respiration really is connected with photosynthesis. The relations between the two are really quite intense in the way that without one, you can't have the other.

I find it fascinating how such a small thing , can have such a large on the cell over all.i learned that the enzyme attaches to a substrate and makes reactions occur faster.

Passion and engagement - In photosynthesis , I found that I really had passion in this subject. This process is truly amazing and almost unbelievable in how intricate the process is.
