This is one of my favourite places in the world. This tiny island has waves that wrap around each side of the island…left and right. The right goes forever…like 300-400 metres…on this day we used the dinghy to get a lift back to the line-up…spaghetti arms. Ok, so the right is not world class but super fun. Also, apparently a Japanese soldier left over from the war lived around the corner happily for years after the war finished. Even married a Indonesian girl and had kids…passed away a few years back but he was stranded in paradise.

Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater alpine lake in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. At 1645 ft (~ 500 m) deep its the the United State's second-deepest lake (after Crater Lake in Oregon).
