If I didn't include my own book in this list, I'm pretty sure HarperCollins — my publisher — would have sent a hit squad of secret ninjas for me! I considered "Venture Deals" by Brad Feld because it is the book every entrepreneur should read before fundraising. Even "The Art of War" would have been good. But in the end I chose "The Third Door" by Alex Banayan because it reminds you that all the rules are made up, and that star entrepreneurs create new rules for the game nobody else knew existed.
