Our favorite pizza for warm weather isn’t a classic Margherita. Instead, we’re getting creative with fruit, because pizza for dessert is pretty much the greatest idea we’ve heard in a long time. Here’s how to do it:

Make Your Dough

Start with your base. You can either go with a basic sugar cookie dough, a plain pizza dough, or puff pastry.

Roll your dough into a round disc as large as you’d like your pizza (or make miniature ones!) and transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet. You can also press your dough into the base of a pie plate or cake pan.

Bake the crust as instructed by the recipe, or until golden brown. Remove it and let it cool.

Now for the good part! Choose your flavor combinations and base. We like using ricotta, Greek yogurt, or mascarpone to offset the sweetness of the fruit. But if you want to get really wild with dessert, you could spread a layer of cream cheese frosting before topping with your fruit.
