There are many bicycle courses along Hangang (river). Here are 2 of the top areas to bike along the river. 1) Nanji Bike Park - The Banpo Hangang (river) Park course simply rocks. The scenery is full of nature, bicycle riders and you can experience the view of an island and of Mapodaegyo (bridge). 2) Gwangnaru Hangang (river) Park - This course lies adjacent to the river. From here, you can get to River-view 8th Avenue, the only under-bridge observatory in Korea that was featured in the Korean drama “Iris”. Visitors without their own bicycles may rent and return them at any of the 12 bicycle rental shops set up in 11 parks along the river. For instance, a bicycle rented at the shop at Ttukseom Island may be returned to the shop in Gwangnaru Hangang (river) Park. Payment for a bicycle rental can be made either in cash or credit card. International visitors must show their passport or alien registration card before renting a bicycle. Should the rental bicycle break down, call the Dasan Call Center (120), and the SOS team will be dispatched to fix it.
