U.S. home prices fall for seventh month in a row

Housing prices are steadily coming back down to earth, according to a new report. Home-price growth continued to decelerate for the seventh straight month in January 2023. S&P CoreLogic’s latest Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price NSA Index, released March 28, reports that price growth dropped by 2 percent from December 2022 to January 2023 — from 5.8 percent to 3.8 percent.
