As student loan payments resume, financial regrets and stress grip borrowers

Roughly 44 million Americans will have to start regularly paying their student loans again when payments resume in October. Many of them are finding that stress, grief and regret are waiting for them at the end of the road. Nearly a quarter of Americans with student loan debt (24 percent) say borrowing too much for their education is their biggest financial regret, according to a Bankrate survey conducted in June.
