This was my leg finisher on quad day. Not the prettiest pistol squats but hell of a pump to the vastus lateralis if the contraction is focused. 3 sets x failure alternating legs without rest. Set up: band is mainly for balance. The working leg will be shifted medially to balance body weight this will shift the load on to the quad sweep. Press up using the outside of your foot. Try to just let the hips drop straight down.
