Mission: Impurrrsible

Since we all need a little cheer this morning... SugarPlum the Cupcakes' Mom has found her purrfect forever family, and will be heading home on the 16th! Her spay is scheduled for Friday. Huge thanks to Kris Kat for opening her heart and home to our little Sugarplum!

REASON #4827 TO SPAY OR NEUTER: Just 9 weeks after giving birth to the Cupcake kittens, Sugarplum went back into heat. It's hard to believe she would already be pregnant again! Sugarplum is one of the lucky ones that made it to a shelter, will be getting spayed tomorrow, and then will get to go to an awesome home! For every lucky kitty that gets rescued and finds a home, another 11 do not. Please, please spay or neuter your pets, and do it before they turn 5 months old. If you need assistance, contact your local SPCA or animal shelter. Most have programs to help people get their pets fixed for free or at a huge discount. If you live in Langley, BC, please contact Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) for help spaying or neutering your pet!

We're looking for volunteers to help with Operation Jungle Moms, which is our initiative to TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) and test/vaccinate the Jungle kittens' feral moms and dads. We mostly need help monitoring our feeding station and re-filling food / checking traps. The feeding station is near 96th and 200th in Langley, so you'll need to be able to get there easily. I've created a facebook group for us to coordinate, so please leave a comment or message me so I can add you if you're interested in helping out. Thanks so much! And extra special thanks to Leopard, Bobcat and Big Brother Jager's mom Kim for keeping the feeding station going for the last many weeks. <3

Dear friends of these two amazing cats, it is through tears and with broken hearts that we have unthinkable news to share. Last night, it became clear the Jaguar Jake's condition was worsening quickly, and this morning, we knew it was time to say goodbye to him. His passing was mercifully peaceful. He knew how loved he was, and we all know how many lives he touched in his short time. For now, please send your thoughts to Siberia. As much as we are grieving, we can only imagine what this loss is for him.

It is with a broken heart and many tears that I must share the news that our beloved, scampy Jaguar Jake passed away this morning from FIP. Please keep his human family, Constance and Denice, as well as his brother Siberia in your hearts. They made sure he knew nothing but unconditional love every day of his short but incredibly worthwhile life. Love you, Mr. J.

Sugar Plum from Tiny Kittens is doing very well after her recheck and spay today. She will soon be ready for a new home.
